This weekend was another perfect one for the books and physically I’m feeling pretty great. Real quick let’s take a peek at my workouts as of late because they’re quite different than what I normally do (which is run, run and run some more).
I finally got real with myself and decided to opt out of the May marathon. Physically and mentally it just wasn’t going to happen and I’ve finally accepted that.
The good news is, I am absolutely loving the variety of my workouts and the lowered mileage. Best yet, my abs are more prominent than they have been in quite awhile. I credit that 100% to Pilates. Seriously, why didn’t I start doing Pilates sooner? Holy core! And I take a fusion class that incorporates all kinds of TRX, Bosu and HIIT stuff. It’s killer. I go to Pilates Plus in North Park if you ever want to check it out (using ClassPass which makes it totally affordable to work out everywhere).
